New Delhi : While bidding off M Venkaiah Naidu as the chairman of the Rajya Sabha on Monday, while most of the MPs praised his humor and wit, Naidu himself praised Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha's 'first love'. Took such a joke on a comment made about it, which caused a wave of laughter in the entire house.Raghav Chadha recalled Naidu's contribution as the Chairman of the Upper House. Recalling the experience of his first day in the House, he said, "Everyone remembers his first experience. First day of school, first principal, first teacher, first love.” He said that when he started his parliamentary career, Naidu was the first chairman in it, so he will always remember him.When the AAP member finished his talk, Naidu asked, "Raghav, I think love is the same, isn't it? once, twice, third time... it happens... no no... first love happens right?Smiling at this, Chadha said, "Sir, I am not that experienced right now."In response, Naidu laughed and said, "First love is good, it should remain the same forever... it should remain the same throughout life."Made best efforts to discharge duties: NaiduRajya Sabha Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu on Monday said he made best efforts to discharge his duties during his five-year tenure and tried his best to take everyone along. Expressing gratitude for his farewell ceremony which lasted for nearly four hours in the House, Naidu said that he made efforts to give equal opportunity to the ruling party and the opposition on all occasions. He said that I discharged my duties in the best possible manner. He said that Parliament should run in a better way. The general public wants a discussion on the issues, so that the problems can be resolved properly. He said that moral values must be inculcated in the conduct of the members.Naidu said the issue of mother tongue was very important to him. Elementary education, higher education, vocational education and administrative work should be in local languages. He said that the common man comes to the court in the hope of justice, but his language is not the common language. He said that the language of the Supreme Court and the High Court should be the local language. Should be translated into other languages if necessary.
