Video of the Indian Air Force Mi 17 helicopter that crash landed near a helipad in Eastern Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh | The Mi-17 helicopter of the Indian Air Force crash-landed in Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday. It was landed in eastern Arunachal Pradesh after a technical snag. Defense sources said that two pilots and three crew members were on board the helicopter. All five are safe and have minor injuries.

The helicopter, which landed in an emergency in Lohit sector of the state, was on a maintenance flight. Sources said a court of inquiry would be ordered to ascertain the cause of the incident. The video of the incident has also surfaced, in which it is seen that the helicopter flying at a high altitude comes swaying on the ground between the hills and the forest, hits the ground while landing.

Two pilots were killed in September when an Army helicopter crashed in the hills of Shiv Garh Dhar area near Patnitop in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district. Earlier, an army helicopter had crashed near the Ranjit Sagar Dam near Pathankot in which two pilots were killed.
