Villagers were reluctant to apply Corona vaccine, SDM got the lights of the houses switched off

Kannauj. In Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, the administration has adopted a strict attitude towards those who do not get the Kovid vaccine. Here in a village some villagers were not getting Kovid Vaccine (Corona Vaccine). When the villagers did not listen to the SDM, they cut off the electricity of their houses. The SDM has also threatened the villagers to cut their names from government schemes. However, ADM Kannauj says that the power has been cut due to arrears. It has nothing to do with not getting the vaccine.

On Wednesday, the team of Health Department had arrived in Virpur village of Saurich block to apply the Kovid vaccine. Many villagers had agreed to get the vaccine and many were adamant on not getting it. When talks with the doctors did not work out, SDM Chhibramau Devesh Gupta himself came to explain to the villagers.

Administration gave its clarification

When the villagers did not agree even after explaining for a long time, the SDM cut the electricity of half the village. Villagers say that there is no electricity since yesterday. Villagers say that it has never happened that any officer has ever got any work done like this forcibly. On the other hand, the administration is giving its clarification in the matter of power cut. ADM Kannauj says that the power has been cut due to arrears. It has nothing to do with not getting the vaccine.
