Dhirendra Shastri: Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, head of Bageshwar Dham, clarified his opinion on Sanatan, Hindutva and various controversial issues in a recent interview. He raised sharp questions on topics like Waqf Board, caste system, and jihad. Also, he targeted Tauqeer Raza and Akbaruddin Owaisi.

Waqf Board vs Sanatan Board

Shastri questioned the functioning of the Waqf Board and said, "Either abolish the Waqf Board or form a Sanatan Board." He claimed that the Waqf Board had a few thousand acres of land in 2000, which increased to eight and a half lakh acres by 2024. He termed it a challenge to the Constitution.

Comment on Tauqeer Raza and Owaisi

Commenting on Tauqeer Raza, Shastri asked Hindus to organize. He said, "If he gathers a crowd of lakhs, we are ready to compete with him." Regarding Akbaruddin Owaisi, he said that his statements are spreading anarchy in the country. Shastri called for respecting the Constitution and the law.

Hindutva and caste system

Dhirendra Krishna Shastri advised Hindus to be aware and active. He said, "Hindus have become timid and cowardly. We have to become staunch Sanatanis." On caste census, he said that all Hindus should rise above caste and unite.

Jihad and challenges of society

Shastri advised the Hindu society to be vigilant, referring to love jihad, land jihad and Ghazwa-e-Hind. He said, "This is not Babur's era, but Raghuvar's era. We have to protect our culture and Sanatan Dharma."

Message of secularism

However, Shastri also clarified that he is not against any religion. He said that Muslims and Christians living in India are also basically Hindus.

Call for culture and unity

Dhirendra Krishna Shastri's message was clear—to make India strong, united and aware of Sanatan values. He said that every Hindu will have to become a soldier to protect religion and culture.
