Dhirendra Shastri: Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, head of Bageshwar Dham, clarified his opinion on Sanatan, Hindutva and various controversial issues in a recent interview. He raised sharp questions on topics like Waqf Board, caste system, and jihad. Also, he targeted Tauqeer Raza and Akbaruddin Owaisi.Waqf Board vs Sanatan BoardShastri questioned the functioning of the Waqf Board and said, "Either abolish the Waqf Board or form a Sanatan Board." He claimed that the Waqf Board had a few thousand acres of land in 2000, which increased to eight and a half lakh acres by 2024. He termed it a challenge to the Constitution.Comment on Tauqeer Raza and OwaisiCommenting on Tauqeer Raza, Shastri asked Hindus to organize. He said, "If he gathers a crowd of lakhs, we are ready to compete with him." Regarding Akbaruddin Owaisi, he said that his statements are spreading anarchy in the country. We have to become staunch Sanatanis."
