Along with this, he also told that the session of the 264th Rajya Sabha will start from June 27. The sessions of both the houses will run till July 3.

On Wednesday, June 12, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju told on social media site X (earlier Twitter) that the newly elected members will be sworn in in the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha starting from June 24. Along with this, the Speaker of the House will also be elected. The session will conclude on July 3 next month. President Draupadi Murmu will address the joint meeting of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on June 27.
