New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE 10th Result 2021 has been declared. This year the board examinations were cancelled. CBSE Class 10 results 2021 have been declared on the basis of the tabulation policy of the board. Students who had registered for the examination have been declared pass. The board has recorded a pass percentage of 99.04%. A total of 21, 50, 608 students had registered for the examination. Among the students who had registered, the resultsof 16,639 candidates is still under process. Also, for Private and Patrachar candidates, CBSE would be conducting Offline Exams from August 16, 2021 till September 15, 2021. The date sheet would be released soon. CBSE 10th Result 2021: Result at a GlanceTotal 21, 50, 608 students had registered for the board exam. Result of 20, 97, 128 students' result has been declared today.Region wise, Trivandrum has the best result at 99.99% followed by Bengaluru and then Chennai. Delhi West and Delhi East regions are at 14 and 15 rank with 98.74% and 97.80% percent pass respectively. Total pass percentage of Delhi region is 98.19%.Among gender, girls have performed better than boys by 0.35%. Pass percentage of girls is recorded at 99.24 while that of boys of 98.89%.Among schools, KV have again recorded a perfect 100% pass percentage. Pass percentage of JNV is 99.99%. As for toppers - no merit list would be announced this year. However, 2,00,962 students have scored between 90 and 95% and 57, 824 students have scored 95% and above in the results declared today. Result of past year is expected to have improved this year.CBSE 10th 2020 Result was announced on July 20, 2020. The board had cancelled a few papers last year in view of the pandemic and released the result based on the performance in other subjects. About 18 lakh students had appeared for CBSE 10th Board Exam in 2020. Of these, 91.46% students had passed the exam. The board had not released any merit list. The number of students who scored above 90% also dropped sharply from 12.78% in 2019 to 9.84% in 2020.CBSE 10th Result 2021: Passing CriteriaTo pass the exam, students need to score an aggregate of 33% in 5 subjects. Students must also score a minimum of 33% in each subject to be promoted. In case a student fails in one of the 5 subjects, he/she can then appear for the compartment exam. Also, in case a student has opted for more than 5 subjects and has 33% in 5 subjects - then he/she would be promoted without compartment.
