New Delhi: Baba Ka Dhaba owner Kanta Prasad, who made headlines after a video went viral on social media, has attempted suicide. It is being told that the elder son Ajay found Kanta Prasad in an unconscious state at around 5.30 pm on Thursday, after which he was immediately admitted to the hospital.

Ajay told, 'Kanta Prasad left the house at around 6.30 am on Thursday. He was very upset at that time. It was learned that Baba had consumed sleeping pills after drinking alcohol, and apologizing to the people, came to his dhaba and slept. He was unconscious when we saw him. Then he was taken to the hospital around 5.30 pm. The condition is not right now.

Why did Kanta Prasad attempt suicide?

In a special conversation with Zee News, Ajay told that, 'People used to taunt my father because of the dispute between YouTuber Gaurav Vasan and Baba. He was upset after hearing people's abuses, due to which he took this step.

Baba was drinking alcohol daily for many days

At the same time, when Zee News spoke to Satish, the auto driver who brought Baba and his wife from Jagdamba camp to the dhaba every day, he told that, 'Baba was drinking alcohol every day for the last several days. Baba drank a lot of alcohol on Wednesday also. I had brought him from the dhaba to the house. But today he has taken this step.

Police got information from the hospital

Delhi Police said that they got information about Kanta Prasad's suicide attempt from the hospital. Presently he is out of danger and is undergoing treatment. Kanta Prasad's wife Badami Devi told the police that her husband was under stress for the past few days. Police are investigating the matter and trying to find out what was the reason behind committing suicide.
