India-Pakistan Relations: India and Pakistan have long had strained relations, with terrorism being a major issue. However, India has not yet clarified who will attend the summit.

The SCO, an important economic and security grouping of India, China, Russia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, will hold ministerial and senior officials meetings ahead of the summit. These meetings will focus on promoting economic, social, cultural and humanitarian cooperation among member countries.

This invitation may be a sign of a possible change in the relations between the two countries, and the outcome of this conference may determine the direction of India-Pakistan relations.

The summit of the heads of government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is being organized in the month of October in Pakistan's capital Islamabad. Pakistan has also sent an invitation to PM Modi to participate in it. Pakistan's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zehra Baloch said that invitations have been sent to the heads of state to participate in the summit to be held on October 15-16.

Pakistani spokesperson Mumtaz Zehra Baloch has said that an invitation has also been sent to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to participate in the conference. Some countries have already confirmed their participation in the SCO summit of heads of state. Baloch has said that it will be told at the scheduled time which country has confirmed. However, India has not yet disclosed who will attend the conference.
