Rajasthan Congress - Will the distance between Gehlot and Pilot be reduced? Both leaders will meet Congress President Kharge today
Rajasthan Congress: Politics in Rajasthan is heating up these days. Veteran Congress leader Sachin Pilot is an attacker on the policies of the state government. He is directly targeting Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. They demand that there should be an inquiry into the corruption cases of the Vasundhara government. Amidst all this, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will meet both the leaders separately in Delhi today.According to media reports, a veteran Congress leader told that this meeting was to be held on 26 May. But, due to some reason it had to be postponed. But, then this meeting will happen today. In view of the assembly elections to be held in the state this year, this meeting of Kharge with both the leaders is considered important. In such a situation, it has to be seen whether the Congress President will be able to convince both the leaders and bring them together. Will Karnataka formula be implemented in Rajasthan?Congress leaders say that Kharge had done something similar in Karnataka as well. Before the assembly elections, the tussle between Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar was reduced and Kharge was successful in bringing these two leaders together by persuading them. Now the Congress high command wants to try this strategy in Rajasthan as well.Pilot targeted the Gehlot governmentActually, Pilot had taken out a Jan Sangharsh Yatra from Ajmer to Jaipur for his demands. During this yatra, he was seen besieging his own government. When the Jan Sangharsh Yatra ended, Pilot placed his three demands in front of the Gehlot government. Giving an ultimatum to the state government, Pilot said that strict action should be taken taking cognizance of the corruption that has taken place in the previous BJP government i.e. Vasundhara government.Pilot gave an ultimatum to the state governmentAlong with this, in his second demand, Pilot had also reiterated the point of giving compensation to the paper leak candidates. He had said that if these demands of his are not accepted, then he will agitate across the state. However, when CM Ashok Gehlot was asked about Pilot's ultimatum, he said that Sachin has not given him any ultimatum. All this confusion is being created by the media.
