The sudden death of 100 chickens in Thane, Maharashtra has raised the ears of the district administration. Due to the death of such a large number of chickens, the fear of bird flu has started deepening again in the district. In such a situation, orders have been given to kill more than 25 thousand chickens here.According to news agency ANI, 100 chickens were killed in a poultry farm located in Veholi village of Shahpur tehsil of Thane. After this the district administration has sent samples of dead chickens to the lab located in Pune. Thane District Collector Rajesh J Narvekar said on Friday that in view of the possibility of infection, orders have been given to kill more than 25 thousand birds coming within a kilometer radius of the poultry farm.
