COVID-19 / Active cases further reduced to 21,530, daily positivity rate 0.24 percent

The active cases of corona in the country are continuously decreasing. The daily positive rate also declined further to 0.24 per cent. In the last 24 hours, 1685 new cases of corona were found and 83 people died. Due to the ever decreasing number of cases, the central government has asked the states to remove all the corona restrictions from March 31.

Due to the ever decreasing number of cases, the central government has asked the states to remove all the corona restrictions from March 31. Yes, the public has been advised to maintain a mask and safe physical distance. At present, there is no possibility of fourth wave in the country.

According to the updated data released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday morning, the number of active cases in the country now stands at 21,530. This is 0.05 percent as compared to the total infected. At the same time, the daily positivity rate has gone up to 0.24 percent. With 83 more deaths, a total of 5,16,755 people have died due to the pandemic.

Vaccination has been an important contribution in protecting the country from new waves of corona. A total of 182,55,75,126 doses have been given so far. In the last 24 hours, more than 29 lakh 82 thousand doses were given. Vaccination of children in the age group of 12 to 18 years is also going on at a rapid pace. International airlines are also being restored from March 27.
