Ravindra Jadeja announced his retirement from this format with an emotional post on Instagram a few hours after Team India's victory, but assured to continue showing his strong game for Team India in ODIs and Tests. Jadeja wrote in his post that winning the World Cup was the biggest milestone in his T20 career. Jadeja said that he is bidding farewell to T20 International with happiness in his heart. He said that he has always contributed with all his might for the country and will continue to do so in other formats.
