Lahore: The difficulties of the Imran Khan government in Pakistan are not taking the name of lessening. The Imran government is already in danger due to the no-confidence motion brought by the opposition parties. Now a no-confidence motion has been brought against Imran's close aide and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
Motion against Punjab CM
The opposition took this step after the no-confidence motion was moved against Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan just a few weeks ago. On March 8, opposition parties submitted a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan in front of the Secretariat of the Pakistani Parliament (National Assembly). The opposition had alleged that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party government led by Imran was responsible for rising inflation and economic crisis in the country.
At the same time, this no-confidence motion against the Chief Minister of Punjab, which is part of Pakistan, was moved in haste to thwart the PTI government's possible plan to dissolve the Punjab Legislative Assembly if the Prime Minister is removed.
Opposition's serious allegations against the Chief MinisterOpposition parties Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) on Monday submitted a no-confidence motion against 52-year-old Buzdar, signed by 127 MLAs. The opposition has requested for the Legislative Assembly session by giving an application so that they can move the no-confidence motion in the house. The no-confidence motion states that Chief Minister Buzdar has lost the confidence of the House
