Atiq Ahmed Murder: Mafia Atiq and his brother Ashraf have been murdered in Prayagraj on Saturday night. The police was taking him to the hospital for a medical test. The journalists were questioning Atiq while walking along. Meanwhile, three youths came posing as media personnel breaking the security cordon of the police and shot Atiq in the head. After this firing on Ashraf. Both piled up there.

Atiq was interrogated for 23 hours

Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf were interrogated for 23 hours by UP ATS and Prayagraj police. Around 200 questions were asked from both. According to sources, during this time Atiq had confessed that he had been taking arms supplies from Pakistan. He called the ISI agent from Ahmedabad jail. Not only this, Atiq also confessed to the crime of conspiracy in the Umesh Pal murder case. Ashraf told the police that weapons used to reach a form house in Punjab through some channel.

Atiq kept pleading during the interrogation. He kept pleading to attend the son's funeral. Meanwhile, Atiq's health deteriorated. After this, Atiq and Ashraf were brought to Colvin Hospital in Prayagraj in the same handcuffs.

UP STF told that after getting the location of the shooters of Umesh Pal murder case, a team of STF had reached Jhansi on Wednesday. STF had received initial information about the hiding of Guddu Muslim. Later the source informed about the presence of Assad and shooter Ghulam near Chirgaon in Jhansi. Though Guddu Muslim was not caught by STF, but Asad and Ghulam were caught by STF.
