Australia defeated first-time finalists India in the 2020 Women's T20 World Cup final in Melbourne on Sunday to clinch the title for a record-extending fifth time. This is Australia's fifth title in the last six editions of the Women's T20 World Cup. The match witnessed Australia register the highest-ever total (184/4) in a Women's T20 World Cup final.
