According to the information, about five years ago Nishan Singh (26), a resident of Bhavdeen, was recruited in the army. Nishan Singh was a 19 Rashtriya Rifles jawan and was posted in South Kashmir's Anantnag. The security forces had cordoned off the village on the information of the presence of terrorists in Watnar village of Kokernag area of ​​Anantnag district late on Saturday evening. After this the terrorists started firing on the soldiers. During this, 19 Rashtriya Rifles jawan Nishan Singh was martyred due to bullet injuries. When the matter was informed to the family by the army late in the evening, there was an atmosphere of mourning in the family.

The body will come by air till Bathinda

The mortal remains of the martyr are being brought from Kashmir. The mortal remains of the martyr will be brought to Bathinda by air before Kashmir. After this, the dead body will reach the bus stand of the village by about three o'clock. The martyr jawan will be given a salute by the army. His family consists of mother, father, younger brother and three sisters. One of whom is married.
