Indian Cricket Team: Indian cricket has returned to its golden era. Recently, the Indian team won the title of T20 World Cup played in West Indies and America. After the victory in this tournament, the players of Team India were given Rs 125 crore as a reward by the BCCI. Apart from this, the senior players of the Indian team have been given rest at this time. Meanwhile, the BCCI is going to take a big decision regarding the players of the team. Under which the senior players running out of Team India will also have to play domestic cricket. Actually, whenever a senior player is out of Team India. Then he waits to play in the IPL instead of playing domestic cricket. Concerns have been raised about this for a long time.

These players got exemption

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has clearly said that all the star cricketers will also have to play domestic cricket if they do not play international cricket. However, Rohit, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah have been exempted from this. The BCCI wants all the other Test specialists to play at least one match of the Duleep Trophy in August. After this, the team has to play Test series with Bangladesh and New Zealand. The team will be announced on this basis. Doing this will benefit Team India a lot. At the same time, domestic cricket will also get a boost.

Ishan and Shreyas ignored

Just after the ODI World Cup 2023 ended, Team India played a T20 series at home against Australia. After this series, the Indian team went on a tour of South Africa. While Ishan Kishan got a chance in Team India's squad, he could not be a part of the playing 11 in T20. After this, he could not get a chance in the squad for the ODI series. At the same time, Shreyas Iyer did not get a chance in Team India's squad after the Test series played against England. Both these players were asked to participate in domestic cricket, but both of them ignored this thing from BCCI. Due to which both these players are still out of BCCI's contract. At the same time, both of them have not been able to return to Team India yet. This clearly shows how strict BCCI is about this decision.
