These players got exemption

However, Rohit, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah have been exempted from this. The BCCI wants all the other Test specialists to play at least one match of the Duleep Trophy in August. After this, the team has to play Test series with Bangladesh and New Zealand. The team will be announced on this basis. Doing this will benefit Team India a lot. At the same time, domestic cricket will also get a boost.

Ishan and Shreyas ignored

Just after the ODI World Cup 2023 ended, Team India played a T20 series at home against Australia. After this series, the Indian team went on a tour of South Africa. While Ishan Kishan got a chance in Team India's squad, he could not be a part of the playing 11 in T20. After this, he could not get a chance in the squad for the ODI series.
