Bigg Boss / Bigg Boss contestant arrested during the show, know the matter

Bigg Boss: Bigg Boss is telecast not only in Hindi but in many languages like Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali and Malayalam. Currently, along with Bigg Boss Hindi Season 17, Bigg Boss Kannada and Bigg Boss Telugu are also going on air. Recently, Bigg Boss Kannada 10 contestant Varthur Santhosh was arrested in the middle of the show during Sunday's episode. Santosh was arrested after a complaint was received from the forest department for allegedly wearing a tiger claw pendant inside the reality show.

Bengaluru City's Deputy Forest Conservator N Ravindra Kumar has confirmed this arrest. He says that Santosh was wearing tiger nails and he sent his officials inside the show who brought Santosh out. If sources are to be believed, Santosh is still in police custody. During investigation, Santosh revealed that he had inherited the tiger claw from his ancestors. Officials have sent Bagh Nakh to the forensic lab for confirmation.

There can be strict punishment for the crime

Let us tell you, wearing or displaying parts of any animal is a punishable offense under the Wildlife (Protection) Act 1972. This law provides strict protection for slowly disappearing species like tigers. Any person can be jailed for three to seven years for this crime. Bigg Boss Kannada contestant Varthur Santosh runs a cow selling business in Bengaluru and also has a real estate business. Till now, neither this contestant of Bigg Boss Kannada nor the makers of the show or the channel has issued any official statement on this entire matter.
