Haryana New Government: Nayab Singh Saini has taken over the reins of the state by taking oath as the Chief Minister of Haryana. Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya administered the oath of office and secrecy to him. Along with CM Saini, 13 MLAs also took oath as ministers, and with this the BJP created history by forming the government for the third time in a row in the state. Many prominent leaders of the NDA including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh attended the swearing-in ceremony.BJP's 10 years of power in Haryana and historic victoryThe BJP has been in power in Haryana for the last 10 years, and this time it formed the government for the third time with an absolute majority. The BJP won 48 out of a total of 90 seats, while the Congress was reduced to 37 seats. The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) got 2 seats. This victory is the best performance ever for the BJP in Haryana, which has further strengthened the party's hold in the state.Apart from the CM, 13 MLAs also took oathAlong with Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, 13 other MLAs also took oath as ministers. Some of them are old and experienced faces and some are new faces.Anil VijAnil Vij, the most senior MLA of Haryana BJP and the leader who won from Ambala Cantt for the seventh time in a row, took oath as a cabinet minister. In the last term, he was the Home Minister of Haryana and has also handled the Health and Sports Department. Vij comes from the Punjabi community and is a strong base of BJP in the state.Krishan Lal PanwarKrishan Lal Panwar, MLA from Israna seat of Panipat, also took oath as a cabinet minister. Panwar represents the Dalit community and has become a minister for the second time. Panwar's political journey started with INLD, but in 2014 he joined the BJP.Vipul GoyalVipul Goyal, MLA from Faridabad, who comes from the Vaishya community, also took oath as a minister for the second time. He was the Minister of Environment and Industry in the previous government.Rao Narveer SinghRao Narveer, MLA from Badshahpur in Gurugram, represents the Yadav community and took oath as a cabinet minister. He defeated Congress candidate Vardhan Yadav by a huge margin after getting the ticket in 2024.Mahipal DhandaMahipal Dhanda, who comes from the Jat community, also took oath as a cabinet minister. He has become MLA for the second time from Panipat Rural seat.Shruti ChaudharyShruti Chaudhary, who comes from the Jat community and is a member of a well-known political family of Haryana, also took oath as a cabinet minister. She is an MLA from Tosham for the first time and her mother Kiran Chaudhary has been a Rajya Sabha MP.Arvind SharmaArvind Sharma, MLA from Gohana seat, also took oath as a cabinet minister. Sharma comes from the Brahmin community and was elected MP from Rohtak in 2019.NDA's show of strengthThe full power of the NDA was seen in the swearing-in ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and many other prominent leaders were present on the stage. Apart from this, Chief Ministers of other states and senior party leaders were also present on this occasion.
