Delhi Election 2025: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released Part-3 of its manifesto for the Delhi Assembly elections. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during this time, put the party's vision and upcoming plans in front of the public. Shah claimed that the BJP does not just make promises, but tries to fulfill its promises. He reiterated the party's commitment to solve the problems of Delhi and development.Big promises in the manifestoThe BJP has made many major promises in the manifesto, which talk about the development of Delhi and improvement in public facilities.Ownership rights to unauthorized colonies: 1700 colonies will be given ownership rights.Revival of sealed shops: 13,000 sealed shops will be reopened.Ownership rights to refugees: Refugees from Pakistan and residents of other colonies will also be given ownership rights.Employment to youth: 50,000 government jobs have been promised to the youth of Delhi.Improvement in transportation: Integrated public transport network will be developed with an investment of 20,000 crores.Tourism and development: Yamuna river front will be developed on the lines of Sabarmati and corridors will be built with UP and Haryana government to promote tourism.E-bus service: A target has been set to provide 100% electric bus service to Delhi by converting 13,000 buses into e-buses.Workers' welfare: Formation of Greek Workers Welfare Board and announcement of providing insurance of 10 lakhs and accident insurance of 5 lakhs to textile workers has been made.Targeting Aam Aadmi PartyWhile releasing the Sankalp Patra, Amit Shah fiercely targeted Aam Aadmi Party and its leader Arvind Kejriwal. Shah said that the Kejriwal government did not fulfill the promises made to the public.He criticized the AAP government on the issues of Delhi's sanitation system, cleanliness of Yamuna river, Mohalla clinics, and corruption. He quipped, "Kejriwal had said that he will clean the Yamuna and take a dip in it, but till date he has not done so."'Delhi ruled by scams'Amit Shah alleged that the Kejriwal government committed scams in Mohalla Clinics and liquor policy.Corruption took place in DTC buses.Panic buttons worth Rs 500 crore were brought, but they are nowhere to be seen.Sheesh Mahal worth Rs 52 crore was built.He said that the people of Delhi are fed up with these scams and want change.Achievements of the central governmentThe BJP leader also listed the achievements of the central government.Rs 41,000 crore was spent on the development of Delhi's roads.Loans were provided to 2.5 lakh street vendors.Clean air and water projects were given priority.Talking about 'politics of performance'Amit Shah said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid the foundation of performance-based politics in the country. BJP tried to fulfill the promises it made. Shah said that the party has taken suggestions from 1.08 lakh people for the development of Delhi and this is a resolution letter prepared with the participation of the public.Appeal to the publicAmit Shah appealed to the people of Delhi to give BJP a chance. He said that BJP is ready to end the problems of Delhi. Also, he called upon the people to punish the politics of lies and deceit.Only time will tell how much impact this resolution letter of BJP will have in the upcoming elections. But the party has heated up the election field through big promises and sharp attacks.
