Pahalgam Terrorist Attack: Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently expressed the grief and anger of the countrymen by referring to the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in his popular program 'Mann Ki Baat'. 26 innocent people lost their lives in this barbaric attack on April 22, including two foreign tourists. It is being considered the biggest terrorist attack after the Pulwama attack.

PM Modi said, "When I am talking to you in Mann Ki Baat today, there is deep pain in the heart. This incident of Pahalgam exposes the desperation and cowardice of the masters of terror. Some enemies are not able to digest the rapid progress of Kashmir."

Deep condolences to the victim families

The Prime Minister expressed his deep condolences to the bereaved families and said that the whole of India stands with them. He said, "Even if the victims are from any state, speak any language, but every Indian is feeling their pain from the heart." He said that after the attack, condolences are pouring in from all over the world and the global community is expressing solidarity with India.

"Enemies are frightened by Kashmir's progress"

The Prime Minister emphasized that the positive changes that have taken place in Jammu and Kashmir in the last few years - schools and colleges are bustling with activity, construction work is on the rise, democracy is taking root, and record number of tourists - have become a cause of worry for the terrorists and their masters. "They do not want Kashmir to prosper, so they are hatching such conspiracies," the Prime Minister said.

India's unity against terrorism

PM Modi described the unity of India's 140 crore people as the country's biggest strength. He said, "Today the country is speaking in one voice. The whole world has supported India in our fight against terrorism. Global leaders have also strongly condemned this heinous attack."

He assured that the culprits and conspirators of this attack will not be spared and the victims will definitely get justice.

Pahalgam attack: A warning to the nation

The incident of April 22 has once again made it clear that terrorism is still a serious challenge. But India's resolve is strong. Prime Minister Modi said, "We have to face this challenge with our resolve and unity."
