Chandrayaan 3 Mission: Chandrayaan-3's rover Pragyan, sent by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), has now slept peacefully after completing its work on the lunar surface. Means Rover Pragyan has been put in sleep mode. When Pragyan landed on the moon, it was day there, now night is about to begin there. On the other hand, now it is the turn to blow up Suryaan. The country's first sun mission 'Aditya L1' has successfully crossed the first process related to the Earth's orbit on Sunday. Now on September 5 late night, the orbit of Suryaan will be changed once again.

Regarding Suryaan, ISRO said on Sunday that Aditya L1 has successfully changed the orbit and the satellite is working perfectly and normally. ISRO said that the process of changing Suryaan's orbit was carried out from the ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network in Bengaluru. At present, the new orbit of Suryaan is 245 km x 22459 km. Aditya L1 was launched from Sriharikota on Saturday.

Aditya L1 will revolve around the Earth's orbit for a total of 16 days. During this, its orbit will be changed a total of five times. Its orbit has been changed for the first time on Sunday. Its orbit will be changed for the second time on September 5. According to the information given by ISRO, Suryaan will study the Sun by staying at a distance of about 1.5 million kilometers from the Earth.

What is the objective of Suryaan mission?

The main objective of this Suryaan mission of ISRO is to study the outer atmosphere of the Sun. Will study the changes in the temperature of the Sun and the storms that arise on its outer layer. For this, Suryaan will be installed at Lagrange Point 1 (L1). After the solar panel is activated, electricity has started being generated for the satellite.

Rover's battery is fully charged

Now talking about Chandrayaan, Rover Pragyan is definitely in sleep mode, but its battery is fully charged. Now on September 22, 2023, there will be sunrise again on the moon. Chandrayaan's receiver has been kept operational. This is because when there is day again on the moon, the mission is expected to start again. For the time being, scientists will now have to wait for the moon to have day again. ISRO has said that Chandrayaan will forever remain on the moon as India's lunar ambassador.

The moon walk rover has completed its work

Regarding Chandrayaan-3, launched on July 14, 2023, ISRO has said that the work for which Rover Pragyan was sent has been completed. Now ISRO scientists will study the information provided by the rover. Chandrayaan-3 sent by ISRO took a total of 40 days to reach the moon. On August 23, at 6:30 pm, the lander Vikram soft-landed on the surface of the moon. About four hours later, Rover Pragyan stepped on the moon.

100 meter journey in 10 days

Rover Pragyan has covered a total distance of 100 meters in the last 10 days from the Shivshakti point on the moon where the lander Vikram had landed. This is where it has been put into sleep mode. The temperature of the moon is likely to go up to minus 200 degrees during the night. In such a situation, the equipment fitted in Lander Vikram and Rover Pragyan may freeze. If this does not happen and both wake up again after sunlight, then rover Pragyan will once again start moving forward.
