PM Narendra Modi praised Tiger Shroff's new song 'Vande Mataram', sung by the actor as a tribute to the Indian Defence Forces, and called it a "creative effort". Shroff had tweeted, "Vande Mataram...these aren't mere words, but emotions. Emotions that drive us to strive to contribute towards our nation." PM responded, "Fully agree with what you say about Vande Mataram!"

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, who released his song ‘Vande Mataram’ ahead of India’s Independence Day, received praise from the Prime Minister of our country, Narendra Modi. PM Modi retweeted Tiger’s post and said that he totally agrees with the actor on what he has to say about Vande Mataram.

The original tweet from Tiger Shroff read, “Vande Mataram...these are not mere words, but emotions. Emotions which drive us to strive to contribute towards our nation. This Independence Day, dedicating a small effort to 130 crore Indians”.

Narendra Modi also retweeted veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar’s tweet, who is the singer of our national song ‘Vande Mataram’ which is based on a poem by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee. Modi thanked Lata Mangeshkar for her best wishes.

Actor Tiger Shroff made his singing debut with ‘Vande Mataram’ and received praises from the Prime Minister himself for this song. In the music video, Tiger can also be witnessed blessing the screens with his amazing dance moves.

Meanwhile, speaking on the work front, Tiger Shroff will be next seen featuring in a lead role in ‘Heropanti 2’, ‘Ganpath’ and Baaghi 4’.
