New Delhi: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was questioned in the Panama Papers Leak case. It is alleged that Amitabh Bachchan formed four companies through this Panama-based law firm and he himself was the director of these companies. Three of these companies were registered in the Bahamas and one was based in British Virgin Island.

What are the allegations against Aishwarya Rai Bachchan?

It is alleged that all these four companies were formed in the year 1993 to save tax, whose market value is said to be in crores of rupees. It is alleged that the companies in which Amitabh Bachchan was on the post of director, those companies were doing business of ships worth crores of rupees but later Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was entered in it.

Aishwarya became director of Amitabh's company even before marriage

In the year 2005, the company which was registered in Virgin Island, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was made its director in place of Amitabh Bachchan. The thing to note here is that Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan were not married till then. Both of them got married on 20 April 2007. But it is alleged that earlier Aishwarya's mother, father and brother were made partners in this company and by 2007, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan herself became a shareholder in this company. And after a year this company was closed.

Abhishek Bachchan has also been questioned

In the Panama Papers Leak, allegations were made that this company was actually a shell company, that is, a fake company, which was formed only to save tax. The ED is investigating this case as a case of money laundering. A few months ago, Abhishek Bachchan was also questioned by the ED in the same case. On Monday, when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might be on her way to the ED office in Delhi, Amitabh Bachchan made a tweet. He wrote that trust is such a thing, when it breaks there is no sound, but its echo is heard throughout life.

These things of Amitabh Bachchan seem to be very hurtful about this development. Till now everyone used to think that Amitabh Bachchan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have a very close relationship.
