Baghdad: At least 50 people have died due to fire in a hospital in Iraq's capital. It is being told that it is a fire in the Corona Ward of the hospital where the treatment of patients infected with viruses was underway. There is also news of dozens of people injured in the accident.

This incident has happened in the Al Hussein Teaching Hospital of Southern Baghdad. Officials said that most people have suffered badly due to scorching in the fire, as well as the condition of the injured people are also being given serious. Because of the fire in the hospital, the short circuit is believed, although this whole accident is yet to be investigated.

According to Health Officer, the explosion in the oxygen cylinder has also been told the reason for the spread of this fire. So far no official statement has been released from the government. Only three months ago in the hospital, the new corona ward was launched, in which 70 beds were arranged.

Health Department spokesman Aamir Jamli said that when this incident happened, about 63 patients were admitted to the ward. Major General Khalid Bohan, chief of Iraq's Civil Defense, said that flammable goods were used in the construction of the hospital, which works to spread the fire further.

This is the second chance in the year when Coronary patients have died in such a large number of fire in the hospital in Iraq. In April, 83 people had died in a similar incident. In this accident in Ibn Al Khatab Hospital, there was a fire after the blast in the oxygen tank.

The fresh accident has once again put the security standards and mismanagement poles in Iraq's hospitals. Among the growing cases of Corona in the country, such accidents arise serious questions. There were more than 9 thousand corona cases last week.
