After Supreme Court ordered a CBI investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the late actor's sisters, Shweta Singh Kirti and Meetu Singh, took to Twitter to welcome SC's decision. Shweta wrote, "So happy...first step towards victory and unbiased investigation. Thank you, God! You've answered our prayers." Meetu wrote, "There we go!! Finally!! Thanks [to] all SSRians and [supporters]."

Bollywood Desk: Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, which has caught everyone’s eye since the beginning, has witnessed a major breakthrough after the Supreme Court announced the verdict of transferring the case to CBI. Yes! Sushant’s case, which has witnessed a tug of war between Mumbai Police and Bihar Police, will now be investigated by CBI. Interestingly, Sushant’s family, friends and fans have been requesting for CBI enquiry in the case for quite some time and the judgement has certainly come with a new ray of hope for everyone seeking justice for the late actor.

Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti, who has been quite vocal about demanding CBI enquiry in the case, is over the moon with SC’s judgement and welcomed it whole-heartedly. Expressing her faith in CBI, the lady also called the verdict as the first step towards truth and unbiased investigation. Sharing her excitement in a series of tweets, Shweta wrote, “There we go!! On the other hand, Sushant’s former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande along with several other celebrities have also hailed SC’s verdict and expressed their happiness over the same. She tweeted, “Justice is the truth in action. Truth wins .... #1ststeptossrjustice”.
