Haryana Politics: Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini has made a big announcement regarding Agniveer. The Chief Minister said that the Haryana government will give 10 percent reservation to Agniveers in police recruitment and mining guard recruitment. Along with this, age limit will also be relaxed in the state's Group C and D recruitment. At the same time, interest-free loan will also be given to start their own business. With this announcement, it is believed that the youth of the state will be excited about Agniveer recruitment.

What did the government give

The Haryana government has announced that Agniveer jawans will be given 10 percent reservation in police recruitment and mining guard recruitment. Along with this, age limit relaxation of 3 years will be given in the state's Group B and C recruitment. Apart from this, 5 percent reservation will be given in Group C recruitment and 1% in Group B. At the same time, if any Agniveer jawan wants to do his own business, then he will be given an interest-free loan of up to Rs 5 lakh on starting his work. Also said for the companies that if any industrial unit gives salary of more than Rs 30,000 per month to Agniveer, then our government will give subsidy of Rs 60,000 per year to that company...'

The issue was raised in Parliament

This announcement of the Haryana government has come at a time when the issue of Agniveer Yojana was raised in Parliament. In the Lok Sabha, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, citing the Center's Agniveer scheme, said that I have met the Agniveer family, the central government does not give martyr status to Agniveer Jawan. Agniveer Jawan are use and throw laborers. There is fear in the minds of the youth about this scheme. On this, Rajnath Singh had completely denied Rahul Gandhi's claims of Agniveer Recruitment Scheme. He had said that this scheme was started after taking opinion from 158 organizations. He also said that this scheme is running in many countries.

What is Agniveer Yojana?

The central government launched the Agneepath scheme in June 2022, under which the youth are linked to the defense for a few years. Under this scheme, the soldiers recruited in the Army, Air Force and Navy were named Agniveer. In this, the youth are recruited for a total of 4 years, apart from this, the soldiers can be given an extension for 4 more years. It also says that after completion of service, 25 percent of the Agniveers will be recruited in the regular army, while the remaining 75 percent of the Agniveers will be given a skill certificate along with a large amount so that they can find work according to their ability.
