G20 Summit India: The two-day G20 summit started on Saturday with the welcome speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, the most special thing about this conference was that Bharat was written instead of India on the country name plate placed in front of PM Modi on the stage. For the last few days, there is a strong discussion going on in the country about changing the name Bharat from India. Earlier, in the invitation letter sent for the G-20 summit, 'President of India' was written instead of 'President of India', due to which the discussion about changing the name of the country has arisen. People are giving their own arguments regarding this on social media also.

Opposition parties are continuously protesting against the name change.

Not only this, the Modi government was also cornered by the opposition parties for writing the name Bharat instead of India. The opposition party is continuously criticizing the central government's effort to change the name of the country to India. Congress leader and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on this that ever since the alliance of opposition parties was formed under the name INDIA, their foundations have been shaken. These people are so scared of the opposition alliance that now you are writing the name of India.

Earlier, a few days ago the Central Government had released a booklet with the name Bharat. This booklet was related to PM Modi's participation in the India-ASEAN conference to be held in Indonesia. In this too, PM Modi was written as Prime Minister of India instead of Prime Minister of India.

India is also mentioned in the booklet related to India-ASEAN conference

India mentioned in President's invitation

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also shared on social media the invitation letter sent to him to attend the dinner during the G20 conference on Tuesday, in which President of India was written.

India's name has been written in the invitation sent for the dinner during the G20 conference.

Similarly, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarna also supported the name Bharat instead of India on social media and said why should the country have an English name? He also wrote Republic of India.

INDIA ready to change the name of the alliance

The opposition is unhappy with the name Bharat being changed instead of India. In this sequence, National Conference leader and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had said 3 days ago that the opposition alliance is ready to change its name INDIA, if because of this name the Center is planning to name the country Bharat instead of 'India'. . He also said that both 'India' and 'Bharat' have been mentioned as the name of the country in the Constitution, but the name 'India' should not be removed.

According to Article 1 of the country's Constitution, India means India, which is a union of states. It was adopted in the Constituent Assembly on 18 September 1949.
