Parliament Session: There was a ruckus in the Lok Sabha on Monday over the Speaker's greeting. Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi questioned the way Speaker Om Birla greeted him. Amit Shah retaliated to Rahul Gandhi's statement. He said that this is an accusation on the seat. After this, Speaker Om Birla taught Rahul a lesson in sanskar and told why he does this.

Rahul Gandhi was giving a motion of thanks on the President's address in the Lok Sabha on Monday as the Leader of the Opposition. During this, he launched a scathing attack on the BJP. Rahul Gandhi made sharp attacks one after the other on Agniveer, farmers and exam paper leak. Meanwhile, he said that the Speaker should not be biased. After this, he questioned the Speaker's greeting.

What did Rahul Gandhi say?

Rahul Gandhi said that when the Speaker meets me, he remains straight, but when he greets PM Modi, he bows down and shakes hands. The Speaker should not do this, because he is the custodian of the House. I am the Leader of the Opposition, but you are the Speaker. There is no one bigger than the Speaker in the House. Not only will I bow before you, the entire opposition will also bow before you.

Speaker Om Birla taught the lesson of sanskar

When Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi raised questions on the way of greeting, Speaker Om Birla said that I do what my culture and sanskar have taught me. He told Rahul Gandhi that my sanskar is that I bow down and greet those who are older than me and treat those who are equal to me as equals.

Rahul Gandhi said - it should not be unfair

On the statement of Speaker Om Birla, Rahul Gandhi said that I agree with you, but the Speaker is the biggest in democracy. Therefore, the entire House should bow before you. Rahul Gandhi also said that we will all listen to what you say, but we want that it should not be unfair. If this happens then the rules allow us to fight for our rights.

AAP is the elected government

Rahul Gandhi said to the ruling BJP that AAP is the government, which has been elected by the people. I would personally like to tell you that whether you like us or not, do not spread hatred and violence. You are in a constitutional position, we are in the opposition, but we are not your enemies. We are here to make your work easier. Rahul Gandhi ended his address with thanks. Before this, he also asked the ruling party to let us work with you.
