T20 World Cup: T20 World Cup 2024 is going to be very special and the biggest reason for this is America. For the first time in the history of international cricket, an ICC tournament is being organized in America. In such a situation, everyone is excited and eager for this. There is also curiosity about the pitches of the grounds of America. Especially everyone's attention is on the pitch of the temporary stadium built in New York, because Team India will play its 3 important matches here. From players to fans, everyone has questions about the pitch here and at the moment it seems that coach Rahul Dravid and captain Rohit Sharma have got the answer to it.3 venues have been fixed for this World Cup in America, out of which many T20 matches have already been played in Florida, while Major League Cricket matches were also played at Dallas Stadium in Texas. In this, cricket is to be played for the first time only in New York and for this a stadium has been prepared in Eisenhower Park in Naso County. For this stadium, 'drop-in pitch' i.e. pitches brought from outside have been fitted. In such a situation, everyone is curious about the behavior of these pitches. How did Rohit-Dravid like the pitch? As far as Team India is concerned, it has to play three out of four matches of the group stage on this ground apart from its warm-up match. In such a situation, it is important for the Indian team to know the condition of this ground and the nature of the pitch. The Rohit-Dravid pair did the same thing on their first tour of this ground. The Indian coach and captain reached the Naso Cricket Stadium on Thursday for an event organized by the ICC. According to a Cricbuzz report, both of them inspected the ground and the pitch thoroughly and at first glance they seemed satisfied. The report states that both of them found the pitch here good and normal, which seems good for batting. The ICC also posted a video of captain Rohit, in which Rohit praised the beauty of this stadium and hoped that the warm-up match will help the players to adapt to its conditions and pitch. Team India has to play its first match against Ireland here on June 5. Also, the big match between India and Pakistan will be played here on 9th June. After this, the next match will be against host America on 12th June. Before Team India, Sri Lanka and South Africa will clash on this ground. In total, 8 matches of the group stage will be played at Naso County Cricket Stadium.
