Chinese President Xi Jinping also came under pressure due to this development and under compulsion he also supported the countries of the Global South.Xi Jinping said that we need to increase the voice and representation of the countries of the Global South, as well as strengthen economic cooperation. The group was started in 2006 and was named 'BRICS' after the inclusion of South Africa in 2010.
