IND vs AUS: Team India defeated Australia by 24 runs in their last Super-8 match. With this win, Team India has made it to the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup. The team has reached the top-4 of this tournament for the 5th time. Australia won the toss and chose to bowl in St. Lucia, West Indies. Indian captain Rohit Sharma played an innings of 92 runs. He missed out on scoring the fastest century in the T20 World Cup, although he scored the fastest half-century. He completed 92 runs in 41 balls. Hit 7 fours and 8 sixes and batted at a strike rate of 224. At one time his strike rate had reached 300.

Then Suryakumar (31), Shivam Dubey (28) and Hardik Pandya (27) took the team's score to 205. The team scored 200+ for the first time in this T20 World Cup. For Australia, Josh Hazlewood gave only 14 runs in 4 overs and took one wicket. Apart from Hazelwood, every bowler gave more than 10 runs in their overs.
