However, there are many questions about the 14th season due to the corona virus. But this will be the second season which is going to be held in the midst of the Kovid 19 pandemic. The BCCI is hopeful that it will be able to organize the IPL without any hassle like last year.

In view of the danger of corona virus, the BCCI has not allowed the spectators on the field. Along with this, the board has set very strict COVID protocols for players and staff along with bio bubble. It is being claimed in the reports that about 10 thousand corona virus test can be done in this tournament lasting 50 days.

The first leg will be played in Mumbai and Chennai

This year, BCCI has decided to organize IPL in six cities Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi and Bangalore. Like last season, no team will get the benefit of home ground this time.

The 20 matches of the first leg of the league will be held in Chennai and Mumbai, while the next phase will be in Ahmedabad and Delhi. There will be 16 bouts here. After this, the final 20 matches of the league will be Bengaluru and Kolkata. The playoff match will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The concern of fans has also increased due to the Corona virus report being positive by three players Devdutt Padikal, Nitish Rana and Daniel Sam before the start of the league. It is a matter of relief that so far the BCCI has managed to keep the whole situation under control.
