KL Rahul will not play the first ODI due to marriage?

Due to the non-availability of KL Rahul in the first ODI, it was being speculated that maybe he has been rested, but it is not so. The real reason behind this is marriage. Actually, KL Rahul will not play in the first ODI against West Indies because of his sister's marriage.

Biggest secret revealed

Shikhar Dhawan, Rituraj Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer were found to be Kovid positive just before the ODI series against West Indies and after that it seemed that Rahul could have been called back in the team, but due to Rahul being busy with his sister's wedding. Now it has been confirmed that he will be available from the second ODI only.

Mayank Agarwal or Ishan Kishan can open in the ODI match before KL Rahul does not play. After the case of Kovid came to the fore in the Indian camp, a big challenge has come before the host team. The team now has only five batsmen left. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant and all-rounder Deepak Hooda can now be seen in the playing XI. Mayank Agarwal has been included in the team on 2 February.
