The 3-match ODI series between India and West Indies is going to start from February 6. After the ODI series, a 3-match T20 series will also be played. The first three ODIs against West Indies will be played on February 6, 9 and 11 while T20 matches will be played on February 16, 18 and 20. Shikhar Dhawan, Rituraj Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer were found to be Kovid positive just before the ODI series against West Indies and after that it seemed that Rahul could have been called back in the team, but due to Rahul being busy with his sister's wedding. Now it has been confirmed that he will be available from the second ODI only.

Mayank Agarwal or Ishan Kishan can open in the ODI match before KL Rahul does not play. After the case of Kovid came to the fore in the Indian camp, a big challenge has come before the host team.
