With this win, KKR have strengthened their position in the points table. KKR now have 14 points from 14 matches and remain at the fourth position in the points table.

Kolkata Knight Riders almost sealed their place in the playoffs after beating Rajasthan Royals by 86 runs in the second match of the day. With this win, KKR have strengthened their position in the points table. KKR now have 14 points from 14 matches and remain at the fourth position in the points table. Talking about Rajasthan Royals, their chances of reaching the playoffs are negligible. Rajasthan is at number seven in the points table with 10 points. Delhi Capitals top the points table.

Delhi have 20 points and have to play one more match in the league stage. Punjab Kings defeated Chennai Super Kings in the first match played on Thursday. Chennai is second in the points table with 18 points. Despite the win, Punjab Kings are out of the playoffs of IPL 14. Punjab has 12 points from 14 matches and is at the fifth position. Mumbai Indians will have to beat Hyderabad by a margin of 171 runs in Friday's match to get a place in the playoffs. He is currently at the sixth position in the points table. Sunrisers Hyderabad are at the last position in the points table.

Talking about yesterday's match, Kolkata, batting first after losing the toss, scored 171 for four in 20 overs and then bowled out Rajasthan for only 85 runs in 16.1 overs. For Kolkata, Shivam Mavi bowled the best of his career, taking four wickets for 21 runs in 3.1 overs. Apart from him, Ferguson took three wickets and Shakib Al Hasan and Varun Chakraborty took one wicket each. Rahul Tewatia scored 44 runs for Rajasthan.
