Batting first after winning the toss, Hyderabad scored 121 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Lucknow achieved the target of 122 runs for 5 wickets in 5 overs.

KL Rahul played a responsible innings and won the team. Rahul came out to open and maintained his composure in a difficult pitch. The captain scored 35 runs off 31 balls.

Sunrisers scored 121 runs, struggling innings of Rahul-Anmolpreet

Lucknow's Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, after winning the toss at Ekana Stadium, the Hyderabad team scored 121 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Rahul Tripathi played 35 off 41 balls and Anmolpreet Singh played 31 runs off 26 balls. Krunal Pandya got three successes from Lucknow.

Hyderabad batsmen trapped in spin trap

The Hyderabadi batsmen found it difficult to deal with the spinners from the start. Krunal Pandya sent Mayank Agarwal to the pavilion in the powerplay. He ended his spell with 3 wickets. Eighth: Umran Malik was runout on the first ball of the 20th over.

Mayank's wicket lost in powerplay

Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to a bad start after winning the toss and opting to bat first. The team lost the wicket of Mayank Agarwal in the third over itself. Opener Anmolpreet Singh again did not let any wicket fall in the powerplay with Rahul Tripathi. The team scored 43 runs in 6 overs at the loss of one wicket.
