MUMBAI: Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray's wife and editor of Saamana newspaper Rashmi Thackeray has tested positive for the Covid-19.

This comes two days after her son and environment minister Aaditya Thackeray had tested positive for the virus.

She is getting treated at home at Varsha, the CM's official bungalow. Officials said that entry to Varsha bungalow will be restricted and important meetings will be scheduled and all Covid protocols will be followed while holding those meetings.

It is also likely that CM may virtually attend the cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

Rashmi Thackeray had taken the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at JJ hospital along with CM on March 11.
