Old deaths due to corona 'account' / Maharashtra gave information of 4005 and Kerala 79 in a single day, health ministry expressed surprise

Even though there is a decrease in the cases of corona in the country, there is a lot of delay in the daily reporting from the states. After Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, now Maharashtra and Kerala have accounted for more than four thousand old deaths, due to which the Health Ministry has confirmed the death of 4100 people in the last one day.

Even though there is a decrease in the cases of corona in the country, there is a lot of delay in the daily reporting from the states. After Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, now Maharashtra and Kerala have accounted for more than four thousand old deaths, due to which the Health Ministry has confirmed the death of 4100 people in the last one day.

According to the ministry, Maharashtra gave information about the death of 4005 people. These people had died a long time ago, but this information came late from the state government. Similarly, Kerala gave the account of 79 old deaths in the last one day. In the last one year, Kerala has so far sent information about more than 20 thousand old deaths to the center. This process is still going on and so far more than 60 thousand people have died in Kerala. A senior Health Ministry official said, gradually the figures are coming out from the states, one of the reasons for which is the compensation given to those who die of the infection. However, the central government has again given instructions to the states to give timely information.

The situation of infection is critical in 34 districts of eight states.

According to the report of the ministry, the situation of corona infection in 34 districts of eight states of the country remains critical. The daily rate in these districts is more than five per cent. Among them, there is still a need for vigilance regarding infection in the districts of Rajasthan, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Sikkim, Mizoram, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. The Center issued instructions from these states to strictly follow the Kovid Vigilance Rules in the respective districts.

1660 new patients found in the country

The Health Ministry has informed on Saturday that 1,660 new cases have been reported in the last one day. Due to this, the total number of patients in the country increased to 4,30,18,032. At the same time, the number of active patients has increased to 16,741, which is the lowest in 702 days and is 0.04 percent of the total cases. The recovery rate from Kovid-19 at the national level is 98.75 percent. Apart from these, a decrease of 4,789 was registered during the last one day in the cases under treatment. So far, 4,24,80,436 people have been cured of the infection in the country but 1.21 percent people (5,20,855) died. According to the ministry, the daily infection rate was recorded at 0.25 percent, while the weekly infection rate is 0.29 percent.
