According to the information, Jitendra (46) son Vedprakash was called from home and shot dead on Luhari-Kotana road late on Monday night in Luhari village of Baraut. Sensation spread in the area as soon as the information about Jitendra's murder was received. On information, ASP, CO reached the spot and took stock of the incident.

At present, old enmity is being told behind the murder. The deceased Jitendra was a resident of Luhari village. Apart from farming, he also used to do the work of buying wheat of the farmers in the area. It is being told that a young man living with the deceased Jitendra called Jitendra from home late on Monday night, but Jitendra did not return home till late night.

During this, some villagers passing through the Luhari-Kotana road found Jitendra's dead body shot, then they informed the police. After which the Kotwali police reached the spot. On the information of the incident, ASP Manish Mishra, CO Bhadauria also reached the spot and took stock of the incident.

In this case, the Kotwali police has taken a youth into custody. Which is being questioned. CO Harish Bhadauria says that at present the reason for the murder is being told as old enmity. It is being verified.

The deceased went to jail on March 6 in the case of cutting mustard from the field, was out on bail

On February 26, Anand Pal's son Rajveer Singh, a resident of Luhari village, had filed a case that Jitendra's son Vedprakash, Ashu, Omprakash, Buddha Prakash and Jitendra's son Mehak Singh threatened to kill him and his family members due to old enmity. and accused Jitendra and others of stealing by cutting the standing mustard crop in his field.

After investigating the incident, the police started the search for the accused. After which the police arrested the accused Jitendra son Vedprakash, Buddha Prakash son Rajveer resident Luhari and on the behest of both the accused, the stolen mustard crop was also recovered from a field in the forest of Jagos. Accused Jitendra was produced in the court and sent to jail. At present, Jitendra was out on bail.
