Paris Olympics 2024: Manu Bhaker of India has performed brilliantly in Paris Olympics 2024. She has won a bronze medal for India in 10m air pistol and hoisted the tricolor in Paris. She is the first Indian female shooter to win an Olympic medal for India in shooting. This is also India's first medal in Paris Olympics 2024.Manu Bhaker scored this much8 women shooters were in the fray for the medal in 10m air pistol. Manu secured third place and won the medal. Manu scored a total of 221.7. She scored 50.4 in the first stage and then her score reached 101.7 in the second stage. The first two positions were occupied by Korean players. Oh Ye Jin of South Korea scored 243.2. She stood first and won the gold medal. Kim Yeji was at number two, whose score was 241.3.
Manu Bhaker was a big contender to win the medal in Tokyo Olympics. Then her pistol malfunctioned and she could not win a medal. But she has made up for the loss of Tokyo in Paris and created history by winning a medal. Before her, no Indian female shooter had won a medal in the Olympics.
