Paris Olympic 2024: Manu Bhaker has created history in the Paris Olympics. The bullet from her pistol has helped India get another medal. With this, the number of medals of India has increased to 2. Manu Bhaker has also become the first Indian athlete to win 2 medals in the same Olympics. Manu Bhaker, along with her partner Sarabjot Singh, won the second medal for India. Manu and Sarabjot defeated the Korean pair 16-10 in the bronze medal match of the 10m air pistol mixed team event.

Manu is the first Indian to win 2 medals in the same Olympics

Manu Bhaker had earlier hit the bronze medal in the 10m air pistol singles event at the Paris Olympics on 28 July. With her first bronze won in Paris, Manu opened India's account in the medal tally. And, now 48 hours after her first success in Paris, Manu Bhaker has created history by winning another bronze

Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh qualified for the bronze medal match of the 10m air pistol mixed team event on 29 July. Both of them had hit 20 perfect shots in the qualification round and scored 580 points through that.

Manu Bhaker is playing her second Olympics in Paris. Earlier, when she made her Olympic debut in Tokyo, she had to return empty-handed from there. The reason for Manu Bhaker's failure in Tokyo was not her poor game but the technical fault in the pistol. Manu also had to face a lot of criticism after the failure in Tokyo. But, the good thing is that Manu Bhaker is not returning empty-handed from Paris. She has opened the account of medals for herself as well as India in the Paris Olympics.
