The workers were trapped due to the closure of the shutter

According to the police, 12 laborers were sleeping on the first floor of the junk warehouse. Suddenly a fire broke out on the ground floor. The only way out for the workers was through the junk shop on the ground floor whose shutters were closed. By 8 am today, 11 bodies were recovered, while one laborer who managed to escape was sent to the hospital. According to police, the fire control room received an alert around 3 am and nine fire tenders worked for over three hours to douse the fire.

Fiber cables caught fire

The fire broke out in the fiber cables in the godown due to which thick smoke spread and the intensity of the fire increased further. Empty liquor bottles, paper, plastic and other cables were also kept in the godown. There were two rooms on the first floor and all the 11 bodies were recovered from one room. were lying on top of each other. The bodies have not been identified.
