According to the information received, Jitendra Shinde was posted under the protection of Amitabh Bachchan since 2015, but in August 2021, after the disproportionate assets case came to light against him, he was removed from the security of the actor. Since then he was posted at DB Mar Police Station in Mumbai. Apart from this, Shinde had traveled to Dubai and Singapore at least four times without informing his superiors. This is a violation of the Service Rules. A senior official said that as per the service rules, he should have taken permission from his superiors to travel abroad.

Security agency named after Shinde's wife

Shinde has also opened a security agency in the name of his wife, the official said. Who was providing security to the Bachchan family, but the fees are transacted in their bank accounts. Whereas it should have been in his wife's bank accounts. According to the official, Shinde had also bought some properties. After the suspension of Shinde, the Mumbai Police Commissioner has constituted an inquiry committee headed by Additional Commissioner of Police (South) Dilip Sawant, the official said.
