New Zealand batsman Henry Nicholls took to Instagram to reveal that he tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Lucy ahead of the World Test Championship final against India. The 29-year-old shared a picture from his wedding and wrote, "Mr & Mrs Nicholls." The duo had got engaged in June last year.

Cricket Desk: The historic final match of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2021 will be played next month between India and New Zealand at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton from June 18. Ahead of the mega event, New Zealand cricketer Henry Nicholls tied the knot with long-time girlfriend Lucy in a private ceremony.

On June 2, team India will fly to the UK after completing hard quarantine in Mumbai. India will lock horns with New Zealand in the inaugura WTC final in Southampton. Henry, who is a key player of the New Zealand squad, shared the good news with his fans on Instagram.

On Sunday, Henry shared the picture on Instagram. Sharing the picture, he wrote in the caption: Mr. and Mrs. Nicholls.

29-year-old Henry Nicholls made his international debut in 2015. He represented New Zealand in 37 Tests, 52 ODIs and 5 T20 matches. The left-handed batsman has scored 2,000 runs in 152 Tests, 1409 ODI runs and 19 runs in T20-International cricket.

The Test series between England and New Zealand starts from June 2 before the Ind vs NZ WTC final. Indian cricket team is expected to land in the UK in the first week of June after completing their quarantine in Mumbai.
