Cricket / 'No batsman thinks of a bowler like Arshdeep Singh'

Cricket | Team India has included young fast bowler Arshdeep Singh in the squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. Arshdeep has impressed with his bowling in the Indian Premier League (IPL) again at the international level and this is the reason why he has got the ticket to Australia, although former Pakistan fast bowler Aaqib Javed has described Arshdeep as a simple bowler. Whatever Aaqib has said for Arshdeep, Indian cricket fans will not like it at all.

Aaqib Javed on Sports PakTV said, 'He is just a basic bowler. In T20, either you have to have swing like Bhuvneshwar Kumar or you should be quick. Or you are tall enough to throw the bouncers well. You must have a trademark. When you see bowlers around the world, you notice it.

He further said, 'If you notice, Jasprit Bumrah differentiates himself from the yorker, Hardik Pandya's bouncer balls are very dangerous. Shaheen Shah Afridi swings the ball superbly and Haris Rauf has the speed. So according to me Arshdeep is a very simple fast bowler. It does not have any trademark. The opposing team does not even think about such a bowler.
