IND vs SA | There are different discussions after Virat Kohli was removed from the ODI captaincy, while Team India is busy in preparations against South Africa, the new ODI captain Rohit Sharma has made it clear. It is given that there is no importance of the things happening outside. The first Test match in South Africa tour will be played a few days later at Centurion from 26 December. Rohit shared these thoughts in a conversation with bcci.tv on Sunday.Rohit said that whenever you play for India, the pressure is very high. People will talk positive and negative about you, but my point of view is that my job as a cricketer is to focus on playing cricket. The new ODI captain said that I do not mean what people are talking about because this is something that cannot be controlled.Rohit said in the middle of the practice session of the team that I have said about this thousands of times and will keep saying it even further. There is a similar message for the team as well. He said that players know that when we play a big tournament, different things happen, but the important thing is to focus on what is in our hands. Our job is to win matches for India and play the way we are known for.He said that such things which happen outside have no importance. What matters to us is what we think of each other. This is more important than anything else. What I think about such and such, that is the important thing. We want to create a good rapport among the players, which will help us achieve the goal that we want to achieve. Rahul bhai (Dravid) will help us in this and we are looking forward to it.
