Indian cricket team's star player Rishabh Pant was badly injured in a car accident on Friday morning. He is currently admitted in Max Hospital in Dehradun. His car collided with the road divider near Roorkee and then burnt to ashes. The doctor to whom Pant was taken after the accident spoke to Pant and told that he wanted to surprise his mother.

Actually, Pant was going from Delhi to his home in Roorkee, when he dozed off and his car met with an accident. After the accident, he was taken to a nearby hospital with the help of the local people, where Dr. Sushil Nagar did his primary treatment. After this he was admitted to Max Hospital in Dehradun.

What did the doctor say?

Dr. Sushil Nagar told that Pant had head and knee injuries. However, the seriousness of the injury will be known only after the investigation. He told that when Pant reached his place, he was conscious, during which Dr. Sushil Nagar had a conversation with Pant. Nagar told that Pant wanted to surprise his mother after reaching his home in Roorkee. That's why he himself was going from Delhi to Roorkee by driving the car.

The doctor said - I did not put stitches

Nagar told, “Pant has a head injury, but I did not stitch him. Seeing his condition, I immediately asked him to take him to Max Hospital. It has been found in Pant's X-ray that no bone is broken. There is an injury to his knee, but how serious it is… it will be known by MRI test.

The doctor said that the injury on Pant's back was not due to fire, but was caused by the injury he sustained while jumping out of the window after the accident. There is no serious back injury. Pant's injury is being examined by a team of bone experts and plastic surgeons at Max Hospital.
