Sachin Pilot Protest: Former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot started a one-day fast against his own government. His fast began at 11 am at the Shaheed Smarak in Jaipur. This will go on till 4 pm. Pilot is sitting on a fast against the CM Gehlot government demanding an inquiry into the scams that took place during the rule of BJP CM Vasundhara Raje. He reached here in the morning with his supporters. It is being said that they may take a different political line by the evening.

Here, after the pilot's fast started, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot issued a video message and once again reiterated the point of Mission 2030. He said- I have decided that by 2030, Rajasthan has to be made the number one state of the country. In the midst of the pilot's fast, political meaning is also being extracted from repeating the mission 2030.

Congress, Rahul-Sonia missing from the poster

There is no photo of Rahul-Sonia from the poster put up at the dharna site. Nor is it the symbol of the Congress. Only Mahatma Gandhi's photo has been placed. On the other hand, State Congress in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has canceled his visit to Jaipur. He was scheduled to reach Jaipur later this afternoon to hold talks with the pilot. Now he can come to Jaipur on Wednesday. He had yesterday termed Pilot's action as anti-party.

Pilot had announced the fast in the press conference on Sunday. In today's dharna, his supporters from all over the state reached Jaipur. Earlier, pro-pilot leaders and MLAs had sent a message to selected supporters to reach Jaipur. This is the first time in the last two decades of fasting against its own government under the Congress rule.

It is worth noting that on April 9, Pilot had said in a press conference that we had leveled allegations of corruption worth Rs 45,000 crore against the Vasundhara government and had promised to investigate and take action after coming to power, but after four and a half years Even the government did not take any action. I wrote a letter to Chief Minister Gehlot twice in this regard, but did not get any response, so I am sitting on hunger strike demanding action.

Updates related to hunger strike

When the pilots reached the place of fast then we will live and die, Ae Watan Tere Liye.... the song was playing. The whole pandal was full of crowd. After paying homage to Jyotiba Phule, he started his fast at the martyr's memorial. He did not answer any questions from the media.

Congress spokesperson Alka Lamba tweeted that the party leadership has told Pilot in writing what is in the interest of Rajasthan and what is the right way forward. Now it becomes necessary that like a disciplined soldier, respect the things of the party and keep it within the party.

Aam Aadmi Party's support to Pilot

The Aam Aadmi Party has appealed to the public to support Pilot's fast. AAP in-charge Vinay Mishra tweeted that if anyone has looted Rajasthan today, it is the unbreakable alliance of Vasundhara ji and Ashok Gehlot ji.

Because of which Rajasthan has the highest debt of 5 lakh crores in the country. I have always been saying that Congress and BJP have an unbreakable alliance. Now their leaders themselves are saying that Gehlot ji and Vasundhara ji are forming the government together. This is a very serious matter.

Sachin Pilot has again brought the internal politics of the Congress to the surface by announcing a fast at the martyr's memorial in Jaipur on Tuesday. After the announcement of Sachin Pilot, Rajasthan in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa is engaged in damage control, but Pilot is adamant on his fast. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said in an interview to Bhaskar – Even I could not become the Chief Minister, but it does not mean that he should leave the party.

Even before Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jode Yatra came to Rajasthan, in a TV interview, Gehlot had even said in a TV interview that the one who does not have ten MLAs, how can he be made the CM? Due to the tough stand of Gehlot, the high command also kept on retreating and the matter of making Pilot the CM gradually came to an end.

This frustrated the pilots and they went on attacking the government. Surrounding the government on the issue of not catching the mastermind in the paper leak case and then writing a letter to the government on the issue of heroines was part of this strategy.
