J&K Election 2024 / PM Modi roared in Jammu, said- 'This new India enters homes and kills'

Prime Minister Modi said in a public meeting in Jammu that this is his last rally for the assembly elections. Attacking the opposition, he said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are fed up with three families and want peace. Modi also mentioned his government's tough policy against terrorism.

People of Jammu and Kashmir troubled by three families

In his speech, PM Modi highlighted the problems of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and said that they are troubled by three major political families—Congress, National Conference, and PDP. He said, "People do not want the same system again, in which there is corruption and discrimination in jobs. The people of Jammu and Kashmir no longer want terror, separatism and bloodshed. During the speech, PM Modi described the heavy voting in the previous election phases as an indication of public inclination towards BJP. He said, "Now the first full majority government of BJP is certain to be formed here. This opportunity is historic for the people of Jammu region, and you should not miss this chance."

Pledge of 'New India'

Referring to 'New India', the Prime Minister said, "This is New India, which takes concrete action against terrorism. When our government responded to bullets with shells, then those terrorists came to their senses." Citing the example of surgical strikes, he said that this action showed the world that India is ready to face any situation.

Promise of One Rank, One Pension

Along with this, PM Modi also mentioned the One Rank, One Pension (OROP) scheme, which he implemented as soon as the government was formed in 2014. He said, "Congress lied to our soldiers. But we implemented OROP, due to which soldier families have received more than Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand crores.”
