Pahalgam Terror Attack: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a tour of Madhubani district of Bihar, where he has launched development projects worth Rs 13,500 crore. This tour was scheduled on the occasion of Panchayati Raj Day and grand preparations were made for it in advance, but after the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, it has been decided to organize the ceremony in a simple manner.

The grandeur of the ceremony is stopped, but development work continues

The death of 26 innocent people in the Pahalgam attack has shocked the country. Due to this tragedy, Prime Minister Modi's program is now being organized without any celebration and welcome. Union Minister and Prime Minister's aide Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh told in a press conference that the Prime Minister's visit has not been canceled, but the pre-scheduled grand welcome, rally and public dialogue programs have been postponed.

A tough stand against terrorism is possible

Prime Minister Modi will address the country on this occasion. It is expected that he will express his condolences over the terrorist attack and indicate strict action against terrorism. Lallan Singh also made it clear that this attack has been carried out at the behest of the neighboring country and India is fully capable of responding to it.

Gift of projects in Jhanjharpur

The Prime Minister has laid the foundation stone and inaugurated many important projects in Jhanjharpur subdivision located near the India-Nepal border. Flagging off semi-high-speed trains is prominent among these. This is considered a big step towards accelerating regional connectivity and economic development.

Steps towards strengthening Panchayati Raj

Prime Minister Modi is communicating with Panchayati Raj institutions and Gram Sabhas across the country through virtual medium. This initiative is considered important in the direction of making local governance more effective and strengthening the roots of democracy.
